Education

Conduct outreach through Baltimore city public schools to promote educational, cultural programs for Latino & non-Latino children.

Identify and recruit community cultural educators and artists to facilitate educational, cultural workshops.

Arts & Culture

Promote and sponsor art and cultural events, including festivals, parades, artistic and musical performances, workshops & conferences throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan Region.

Organize Fiesta Baltimore, an annual event including the Parade of Latin American Nations & cultural festival.

Manage Casa de la Cultura, a Latino educational cultural and empowering center to educate, promote and preserve the richness and diversity of the Latino culture and artistic heritage.

Community Relations

Conduct outreach to the Hispanic/Latino community to promote the organization, mission, programs, and services.

Develop a network of Latino cultural associations, organizations, artists to provide mentoring programs, professional and financial support.

Business & Fundraising

Develop a network of partners & sponsors, including Latino & non-Latino small and large businesses, foundations, and corporations to acquire financial support.

Develop Nuestras Raices Inc as a brand name that will help us acquire financial support to accomplish our mission.

Identify and apply for cultural and community empowering grants to businesses, government, foundations, and corporations.

Social Media & Communications

Utilizes marketing tools and social media outlets to educate and promote “ Nuestras Raices Inc.” its mission, programs, and services.

Utilizes social media outlets to connect with our members and the community, also, to promote Hispanic/ Latino cultural community events through the Baltimore and DMV metropolitan regions.
