Cultural Youth Program

Creative and educational experiences that connect young people with the cultural traditions, arts, and history of Latin America and the Caribbean. Includes workshops, storytelling, creative projects, and field trips to museums and cultural institutions.

Capoeira Program

Teaches the Afro-Brazilian art form that blends martial arts, music, dance, and cultural history. Participants learn movement, rhythm, and teamwork while promoting physical fitness, coordination, and cultural awareness.

Classical Guitar Program

Introduces youth to the musical traditions of Latin American and Spanish classical guitar. Students learn foundational techniques while exploring the cultural history and artistic importance of this musical tradition.

Launching in 2026, this program provides youth with opportunities to stay active, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and build friendships through training sessions, friendly matches, and community engagement activities.

  • Gallery openings are every first Friday, April–December, 5–9 PM

Casa de la Cultura Summer Camp is a free, bilingual Latino culture summer camp in Baltimore running June 23 – August 14, 2026, every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Our Baltimore youth summer program offers hands-on cultural workshops, music, dance, sports, and educational field trips led by community experts to help young people build confidence, leadership skills, and cultural pride. Rooted in Latino heritage and community connection, our inclusive summer camp gives Baltimore youth a safe, enriching environment to grow, learn, and celebrate who they are.

Casa de la Cultura is proud to present "Voces de mi Tierra," a stunning Latino art gallery showcase in Baltimore featuring original works by four talented MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) student artists: Ana Sofia Torres, Katherine Belisario, Ava Leard, and Sofia Vasquez. This immersive cultural event celebrates Latino heritage through a vibrant display of original artwork, live music, authentic food, and handmade crafts — Musica, Comida, y Artesanías — creating an unforgettable experience for the entire Baltimore community. Join us for a unique opportunity to celebrate Latino culture, support emerging local Baltimore artists, and experience the diverse artistic voices and rich cultural heritage that make our community extraordinary.
