Fiesta Baltimore 2026: Celebrate Culture. Invest in Community.
Every family deserves the chance to celebrate who they are, where they come from, and the vibrant culture they carry with them. At Nuestras Raices Inc., we believe that cultural celebration is far more than a single day of music and food. It is an act of community building, of pride, and of belonging. Fiesta Baltimore 2026 is our most ambitious celebration yet, and we need your support to make it possible. The annual Fiesta Baltimore festival and the beloved Parade of Latino Nations draw thousands of visitors from across the Baltimore metropolitan region each year, showcasing the beauty, creativity, and resilience of the Latino community. This year, help us make Fiesta Baltimore 2026 bigger, bolder, and more accessible than ever before.

How Your Donation Brings Fiesta Baltimore 2026 to Life
Producing a free, large-scale public event takes significant resources, and Nuestras Raices Inc. relies on the generosity of individual donors, businesses, and community partners to make Fiesta Baltimore possible each year. Your donation directly funds parade logistics and permitting, artist and performer stipends, stage and sound production, cultural exhibition materials, youth activity supplies, bilingual marketing and outreach, and the operational infrastructure required to host thousands of guests safely and joyfully.
Every dollar you give is a direct investment in cultural pride, community belonging, and the future of Baltimore’s Latino community. Whether you give $25 or $2,500, your contribution ensures that Fiesta Baltimore 2026 remains free, vibrant, and fully accessible to every family who wants to attend, regardless of income, immigration status, or background.
Baltimore is a stronger, richer, and more dynamic city because of its Latino community. Fiesta Baltimore exists to celebrate that truth out loud, in the streets, with music, color, and joy. Overview
What Is Fiesta Baltimore and Why Does It Matter?
Fiesta Baltimore is the largest and most anticipated Latino cultural event in the Baltimore metropolitan region. Organized annually by Nuestras Raices Inc., the event brings together families, artists, musicians, performers, and community leaders from across the city and beyond to honor the rich diversity of Latino heritage and culture. The celebration includes the Parade of Latino Nations, live performances, cultural exhibitions, traditional food vendors, youth activities, and community resource programming, all offered free to the public.
For Baltimore’s Latino and immigrant communities, Fiesta Baltimore is not simply a festival. It is a moment of collective affirmation, a day when the contributions, traditions, and identities of more than 25 Latino nationalities are honored, seen, and celebrated on a grand public stage. For children and young people in particular, Fiesta Baltimore sends a powerful message: your culture matters, your story belongs here, and this city is proud to call you one of its own.
Our 2026 campaign will fund the following essential components of the event:
- Free and open-to-the-public admission for all festival attendees
- The Parade of Latino Nations featuring community groups, dancers, and cultural organizations
- Live musical performances celebrating Afro-Caribbean, cumbia, salsa, and regional Latin music traditions
- Cultural exhibitions spotlighting local Latino artists and artisans from across Baltimore
- Youth programming zones with hands-on activities, storytelling, and interactive cultural workshops
- Community resource tables connecting families to bilingual health, legal, and social services
- Bilingual event programming ensuring full accessibility for Spanish-speaking attendees and families

Overview
The Latino Culture Hub, powered by Nuestras Raíces Inc., is a bold and heart-driven initiative dedicated to educating, promoting, and preserving the richness and diversity of Latino culture in Baltimore and across the Maryland metropolitan region. Founded by Angelo Solera on February 19, 2019, Nuestras Raíces Inc. is a community-based 501(c)(3) Hispanic/Latino cultural organization with a mission deeply rooted in celebrating Latino heritage and ensuring it remains a vital part of Baltimore’s cultural fabric.
The Latino Culture Hub is more than a program; it is a living, breathing home for Latino identity. It is where traditions are taught, where artists are uplifted, where elders share their stories, and where the next generation grows up proud of who they are and where they come from. Through Casa de la Cultura, Maryland’s first and only Latino educational and cultural empowerment center, the organization provides a space where members of the Latino community, representing 25 different nations, can reconnect with their roots, culture, and sense of belonging.
Your support helps keep this mission alive, growing, and accessible to every Latino family in our community.
Here is what your donation directly supports:
- Cultural Education Programs — Hands-on workshops, youth mentoring sessions, guitar classes, and arts programs that connect the next generation to their Latino roots
- Performing Arts & Cultural Events — Live folkloric dance productions, theater performances, music showcases, and art exhibitions that celebrate the full diversity of Latino artistic heritage
- Fiesta Baltimore & The Parade of Latin American Nations — Baltimore’s premier annual Latino cultural festival, honoring the traditions and flags of over 20 Latin American nations in a powerful community celebration
- Casa de la Cultura — The maintenance and growth of Maryland’s only Latino educational and cultural empowering center, serving as a permanent and welcoming home for the community
- Preservation of Heritage & Oral Histories — Digital archives, cultural exhibitions, and storytelling initiatives that ensure the traditions, languages, and histories of Latino communities are never forgotten
- Community Outreach & Empowerment — Grassroots outreach programs that connect Baltimore’s Latino families with cultural resources, professional support, and a strong, united sense of community pride
Challenge
The Latino community in Baltimore is resilient, vibrant, and deeply rooted, but preserving and promoting a living culture requires consistent resources, dedicated spaces, and unwavering community support. Without them, traditions fade, voices go unheard, and generations grow up disconnected from the heritage that defines them.
Many members of Baltimore’s Latino community, representing people from 25 different nations, often feel detached from their home countries. When adjusting to American culture, they frequently risk losing their own — their language, their traditions, and their sense of cultural identity. Casa de la Cultura, the Latino Culture Hub, exists precisely to close that gap, but the work is far from finished.
In the face of a difficult and uncertain political climate, Angelo Solera and the Nuestras Raíces team have chosen to stand strong — feeling more emboldened than ever to showcase Latino culture and prove that the community is here, united, and unwilling to be made invisible. That courage demands community backing.
Funding cultural programming, maintaining Casa de la Cultura, organizing large-scale events like Fiesta Baltimore, and reaching underserved Latino families across the region all require financial investment that goes beyond what grants and partnerships alone can cover. This is where you come in.
Your donation bridges the gap between what this community deserves and what is currently possible. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a direct investment in the dignity, visibility, and future of Latino culture in Baltimore.

Angelo Solera, founder and executive director of Nuestras Raíces, has spoken about the emotional weight the community carries right now, yet he and his organization are choosing to stand strong, feeling even more emboldened to showcase their culture and declare that the Latino community in Baltimore is here, strong, and united.
